This quote does not sound like something that should be on Wikipedia, regardless of how true it may or may not be:

Silent Spring

Someone needs to add a sentence or two about the publication of Rachel Carson's "Silent Spring" and its significance in kicking off an ecological mindset and in science writing as literature ~2026-32332-54 (talk) 16:46, 6 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Carson is mentioned in a list of well known authors that comes right after mention of Hiroshima, which I suspect is the most famous single article associated with the magazine. If you can find a source that mentions Silent Spring the same way, I would say add it; the same standard should probably be applied to Hiroshima. Philly6097 (talk) 17:40, 6 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
