Q1: Why aren't native Aboriginal names for Sydney mentioned in the article's lead section or infobox?
A1: Consensus found in previous talk page discussions (Talk:Sydney/Archive 10#sydney name) has determined that names such as Gadigal, Cadi, Gadi, Eora and Warrane are imprecise to refer to the city's entire metropolitan area and do not necessarily correlate with modern geographical boundaries. Reliable sources do not typically use these as alternative names for the modern city of Sydney. These are however, discussed in the Sydney#Toponymy and Sydney#History sections.
