the article only states "Yiannopoulos posted on X that he may have a brain tumour" that he posted on X, which is accurate. Doesn't make a claim whether we know anything more about his health status. ScottDNelson (talk) 21:36, 28 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
The cited Yahoo! article appears to come from The Dallas Express, but it does not look like a reliable source:
Bennett admitted that his company Ashford had hired Crowds on Demand but otherwise denied the findings of the Texas Observer report, which quoted Emily Bell, the founding director of the Tow Center for Digital Journalism at Columbia Journalism School, who said that the Dallas Express has violated basic journalistic ethics and is deceptive: "Effectively, the business model here is deception. It's not just about them being partisan. It's about them being dishonest and crossing basic lines of journalism. They're not even doing journalism. They're doing P.R., political advertising, or persuasion campaigns."
I don't see any updates with reliable sources about this supposed brain tumor. If he had been formally diagnosed, then I think we would have heard about it by now, some 10 or 11 months after this initial announcement. I know you guys might say that this is disingenuous of him, but I would argue that most things he says are disingenuous to begin with, so I think it should be mentioned that since 2023 Gaza crisis began he is no longer publicly a friend of Israel, and he claims to have become more sympathetic to Islam due to his own Conservative stances and has apologized for his past comments. Following edits by @~2026-47027-38, some corrections need to be made.
Milo Yiannopoulos "was arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Thursday 27th August at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport." not the 28th.
The Telegraph article states: "and flown back to Britain on Friday, according to two senior US sources.". The Guardian also says: "Yiannopoulos’s deportation occurred on Friday, said a statement on Saturday from a spokesperson for the US Department of Homeland Security, which oversees ICE.". The BBC News article linked to also says: "was deported on Friday, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)."
