Accuracy of Donovan goal call - "go, go" or "goal goal"?

[edit]

There doesn't seem to be definitive evidence one way or another, but I would posit that Darke isn't biased enough to have yelled "go, go USA" after Donovan's goal v. Algeria. I believe the actual quote was "goal, goal USA". In this [interview], Darke himself says that he is uncertain whether he said "go, go" or "goal, goal" - I don't think that this is something that will be resolved anytime soon, so I thought it would be best to tag the statement to at least indicate that there is published dispute regarding it.Riphamilton (talk) 07:14, 23 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

I always thought it was goal goal USA. I doubt he would so openly root for the USA — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.181.4.69 (talk) 04:20, 18 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
