• I will conduct a review of this article once I finish Talk:Hugh O'Donnell, 2nd Earl of Tyrconnell/GA1. I would normally wait until I was further into the review before claiming another article, but this one looks so interesting that I want to claim it before anybody else could. • 1. "was a short-lived women's magazine" -> "short-lived" seems relative. I am fine with it being kept in the article if there are other GAs or FAs with the same wording.

• 1. Emancipation Pictorial, cover (1920).jpg is the cover of one of the magazine's issues. The source is adequate and the image is in the public domain in both the US and China.
• 2. Lin Xin, She is also her husband's flesh and blood, Emancipation Pictorial, August 1921.jpg is an illustration from the magazine with one of the first uses of 她. This image was uploaded to Wikipedia as it is not public domain in China, but is public domain in the US. Everything is fine with the image, but could you expand more on what 她 is for the text description underneath the image?

• There are 27 references so I will review 5 of them, accounting for 18.52% of the total. I will be using the reference numbers from this version of the article.
  • 1. Page 85 of Shanghai Filmmaking: Crossing Borders, Connecting to the Globe, 1922–1938 + Page 263 of Zheng Zhegu and Performances in Early Chinese Film [Reference 2] is used to source the founders of the Xinmin Library and it publishing the Emancipation Pictorial, Yaofeng Monthly, and Spring Voice Daily. Paragraph one of page 263 sources the co-founders of the Ximin Library and it publishing the Emancipation Pictorial and Yaofeng Monthly. Paragraph 2 of page 85 states that Spring Voice Daily was published by the New People Press. On page 80 it states that the New People Society and Xinmin Library are the same. I added page 80 to the reference to make that clearer.
  • 2. Page 263 of Zheng Zhegu and Performances in Early Chinese Film [Reference 4] is used to source the magazine's support for the May Fourth Movement. This is stated in paragraph one of page 263.
  • 3. 中国妇女报刊史上首份画报 初期男作者投稿居多 [Reference 6] is used to source the majority of the magazine's contributors being male, new issues being published monthly, a woman breaking free of her shackles on the cover of the fifth issue, and the magazine being called the first illustrated periodical in China to deal with women's issues. The title of the article, when translated, states this and again in one of the headings. Paragraph 1 sources it being called the first illustrated periodical in China to deal with women's issues. Paragraph 2 covers it being a monthly publication. The second to last paragraph sources the description for the fifth issue's cover.
  • 4. Pages 83 to 84 of Shanghai Filmmaking: Crossing Borders, Connecting to the Globe, 1922–1938 [Reference 10] is used to source Zhou Jianyun's introduction stating that the Emancipation Pictorial was meant to explore women's rights in a non-academic sense and lists some topics covered by the magazine. Paragraph 3 of page 83 and paragraph 1 of page 84 do source this.
  • 5. Page 84 of Shanghai Filmmaking: Crossing Borders, Connecting to the Globe, 1922–1938. [Reference 8] is used to source the magazine being written in vernacular Chinese. Paragraphs 1 and 2 do state that the magazine used the vernacular language.
