Feedback: Daily Express and the Daily Star

I have personally known the Daily Express and the Daily Star to be serial offenders in making silly claims about End Times or World War III. Health and suicide risks

Hopescrolling

I request to add this word. It would be the opposite of Doomscrolling (and IS a thing). Neutrality is required. And if someone tells me it's "not a word", that's BS. The concept exists and is something that is done by humans. There should be a word. Coining of the Term

Currently the article credits Ashik Siddique as the coiner of the term "doomscrolling." At the same time, KnowYourMeme credits this tweet posted 10 hours earlier.

KnowYourMeme isn't a reliable source (WP:KYM) but this claim does seem credible based on the listed timestamps. I can't find any reliable sources for this though so I was wondering if anyone else is able to find some?

I found this article from Wired Magazine, which is a reliable source. They state that the origins of the term are murky, so I'm going to state that and include the possible origins (i.e. Ashik Siddique and this Twitter user) Ze0n (talk) 04:05, 28 July 2026 (UTC)
