parenthetical opinions
[edit]I don't think the article requires a footnote stating that a list of Beaumont's opinions are Beaumont's opinions and not Velikovsky's, as the article nowhere says or implies that they are. But in any case, such a note—if included—should be a report of a reputable source's opinion, not a report of an anonymous editor's personal opinion or analysis. - Nunh-huh 05:54, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
Reader's Digest quote inaccurate
[edit]I'm one of the few people to have read Beaumont's books. The RD quote suggests be thought Wales was Galilee and Athens was at Bath... I think Beaumont claimed Somerset was Galilee and Dumbarton was Athens.
I'm not endorsing his ideas, but it is worth pointing out RD's mistakes here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.249.184.203 (talk) 11:18, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
no section where he's shown to be fringe whacky?
[edit]While it is "obvious," there should be expert refutations all over the place for references ... ~2025-33457-89 (talk) 01:12, 1 January 2026 (UTC)
