I feel that it is highly unreasonable to state that we should remove all links to Youtube considering that most media outlets have their own YouTube channels that do not violate any copyright law. Copyright issues, most likely. Wikipedia avoids use of copyright-protected material, except under narrow conditions of "fair use", e.g., the picture is the subject of the article. Colbert and Colmes

Alan Colmes co-hosted the first 2009 episode of The Colbert Report with Stephen Colbert, it was just stunt but I wondered if it warranted mentioning here? It can be easily sourced as it's available to stream for free from Colbertnation.com. I am new here so I thought I'd ask before doing anything Guycucumber (talk) 14:29, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

I would say its noteworthy enough to have a sentence about it either at the bottom of the career section or perhaps a new section is needed for other things hes been up to or done now hes left fox news. I tried to watch the the full episode but it wouldnt let me, i got a funny message sayin..

Anyway if you look at the history of the article it had been included for some time until someone changed the story to say he was fired after one show then the whole mention of it was simply removed. Removed what was obviously a one-off joke, more suited to the Colbert Report article than this one

Which I understand, though I thought since he appeared for the entire episode technically as a co-host it could be considered notable, more so than a regular interview. Notable enough for a one-liner somewhere, at least. Anyway I'll leave it for awhile to see if anyone objects.

As for the video at colbertnation, that's a shame, I'm in Australia and I can stream here, however the episode was reported by a few news sites, I'll check around and see if any are citeworthy.
