Business divisions

[edit]

Jaydee Living operates several specialist e-commerce websites selling waste-management, workplace and related equipment. Its activities include the sale of recycling and waste containers and other commercial and public-sector equipment.

RecyclingBins.co.uk

RecyclingBins.co.uk was established in 2010 and specialises in recycling bins and related waste-management products. In addition to its retail operations, the website has published information and research relating to recycling and waste management. In 2015, The Independent reported on a RecyclingBins.co.uk study that analysed environmental measures in European cities, including recycling initiatives, cleanliness, emissions and environmentally friendly transport. The study placed Bristol sixth among the cities examined and described it as the only UK city in the top ten.[3]

The website has also published educational material on recycling, including statistics, recycling guidance and information about waste management. Its published material includes research comparing recycling rates across European countries and articles explaining recycling practices and waste reduction.[4]

The website's recycling-related resources have also been referenced in consumer discussions about household waste and recycling. Discussions on the MoneySavingExpert Forum have included links to RecyclingBins.co.uk including threads on household recycling, compostable bags and recycling.[5][6][7]

WheelieBins.co.uk

WheelieBins.co.uk was established in 2011 as a branch of Jaydee Living Ltd. It centers on wheelie bins and related waste containers for domestic, commercial, and public-sector applications.

In 2020, WheelieBins.co.uk sponsored an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the fastest wheelie bin. The attempt was made by engineer Andy Jennings at the Straightliners land speed event at Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire. Jennings reached a speed of approximately 43 mph in a motorised wheelie bin, setting a new Guinness World Record at the time.[8][9]

In October 2021, WheelieBins.co.uk appeared on Channel 4 in Celebrity Trash Monsters: What's Your Waste Size?, a programme examining household waste and recycling. The programme aired on 17 October 2021.[10]

Public sector contracts

[edit]

Jaydee Living has provided equipment to public-sector organizations. In April 2025, a contract notice that appeared on the UK's Find a Tender service listed Jaydee Living Limited as the supplier for 3,420 internal waste bins, for the West Midlands Police estate. The bins were meant for food waste, recycling and general waste collection throughout the organizations buildings.[11]

E-commerce operations

[edit]

Jaydee Living operates multiple specialist e-commerce websites under its business. In a project documented by e-commerce developer Staylime, four of the company's websites were migrated from Magento 1 to Magento 2. The project was about building a shared custom theme and adding functionality, for the company's online stores.[12]

Community and sponsorship

[edit]

Jaydee Living has sponsored Cheltenham Town Football Club in the Cheltenham area. The company was a sponsor of the club during the 2025–26 season and continued its partnership for the 2026–27 season as the club's Back of Shorts Partner.[13]

During the 2025–26 season, Jaydee Living sponsored three Cheltenham Town matches. In April 2026, the company and the club organised a "Top Bin Challenge" involving 120-litre wheelie bins and football shots. The activity was also held for supporters during half-time of Cheltenham Town's match against Newport County on 18 April 2026. The event raised donations for Cheltenham Town Community Trust.[14][15]
