' DuRoBo is a Dutch technology company based in Breda, Netherlands that develops ePaper devices. It is best known for the Krono, a 6.13-inch Android-based ePaper device released in 2025.[1][2]
History
[edit]DuRoBo Holding B.V. was founded in Breda, Netherlands as a technology company specializing in ePaper products.[3] The company introduced the Krono as its first product in 2025.[2]
Krono made its public trade-show debut at IFA in Berlin in September 2025.[3] In January 2026, DuRoBo showcased the device at CES 2026 in Las Vegas at Booth #22014, Central Hall.[4]

[edit]The Krono is a 6.13-inch Android-based ePaper device used for reading, idea capture, and listening to music or podcasts.[5] It features a 300 ppi ePaper display with anti-glare etching and dual-tone Front light. Krono's key design feature is the mechanical Smart Dial on the side, which provides direct access to Spark, the device's idea capture tool for quick voice recordings, transcription, and AI summarization alongside navigation and brightness controls.[5][6]
Reception
