Welcome to the interface administrators' noticeboard

This is the interface administrator noticeboard, for discussion of interface administrators and coordination of edits to the interface.

Currently only interface administrators can undelete JS/CSS pages, if you have an uncontroversial undelete or deleted version retrieval request, please list it below.

Any administrator can delete JS/CSS/JSON pages, for speedy deletions just use a CSD template on the page or its talk page.

Individual requests for edits to interface or user JavaScript/CSS pages should continue to be made on their respective talk pages.

The following interface administrator(s) are inactive:

Removing this doesn't seem advisable, as contributions are continuing under alt account User:DeadbeefBot II; @Dbeef: perhaps you could make a contribution here to stop the nag bot? — xaosflux Talk 13:15, 29 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
yeah, was going to say that my bot is still running and happy to keep maintaining it and keeping it running :) dbeef [talk] 02:25, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Dbeef and 'easy way' to overcome this would be to just use your primary account to touch the secondary account (e.g. just drop a comment in User:DeadbeefBot_II/common.css). — xaosflux Talk 10:22, 30 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, done just now. dbeef [talk] 04:25, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

I believe this RfC outcome requires an interface administrator to implement. voorts (talk/contributions) 21:43, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

No, it requires a phab task instead. Iadmins have no control over this. * Pppery * in solidarity 21:54, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
    According to @Anomie, that's not the case. See Special:Diff/1362181859. voorts (talk/contributions) 21:55, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
That's not what Anomie said. Changes to configuration settings (except those in Special:CommunityConfiguration which this isn't) require a phab task. See m:Requesting wiki configuration changes. * Pppery * in solidarity 21:57, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
    I misunderstood that comment. My bad. voorts (talk/contributions) 21:57, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
    I'll make the phab request. voorts (talk/contributions) 21:58, 2 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

I've just realized that I set my Wikibreak Enforcer to the new year(!) instead of the intended 2 days, which I am just finding out now. Can you un-break it? You can confirm this is me using CheckUser to run the IP if you doubt it. ~2026-39013-88 (talk) 04:38, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

     Done Sohom (talk) 05:31, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Actually  Done, I misread the request as one to remove Wikibreak Enforcer completely, then misread it as being 2 days from now and now finally see that you did actually want to remove it completely. trout Self-trout :( In either case, the Wikibreak Enforcer should be gone now. Sohom (talk) 05:38, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
    Haha, thank you! OmegaAOLtalk? 00:41, 11 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
@OmegaAOL: FYI, you can log in and edit that page without JavaScript if this happens again. sapphaline (talk) 09:43, 10 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I didn't think Wikipedia would work with NoScript so I didn't bother trying this, but I will if it happens again. OmegaAOLtalk? 00:40, 11 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
I personally find WikibreakEnforcer to be very easily bypassable, whenever I've needed to stay off Wikipedia, I've just added the domain to by adblock extension :) Sohom (talk) 03:53, 11 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
