Possible source about COI editing on Wikipedia

This article about paid editing might be useful as a source here. For the sake of transparency, I had someone who is not a Wikipedian email me with the suggestion and did not happen to stumble across it organically. I'm hesitant to use it myself for that reason. I have also made a similar request on Talk:Conflict-of-interest editing on Wikipedia#Possible source. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 20:54, 28 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Regulars here: Please check WP:RFED

There is an open and reasonable-sounding edit request at WP:RFED, which is there because the protection of this talk page causes requests to be shunted there. Would someone check it out and close it? I am not involved with this article. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:34, 5 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Facebook aka criminal kind of thing. Editorq35 (talk) 00:52, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
It seems the request has been removed from RFED. ~Anachronist (talk) 01:58, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

video views scandal

The entire issue of Facebook inflating video view counts (compare Pivot to video) seems to be missing from both this article and the History of Facebook article. Considering it's consequences it should definitely be in the Impact section. — jonas (talk) 18:29, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
