Hindustan vs Mughal Empire

[edit]

Regardless of what the term Hindustan historically referred to (which, BTW, is also dubious), the entity that Babur and Aurangzeb ruled is known as the Mughal Empire in every history. We should use that term. If you think Hindustan is more appropriate, please make a case on this talk page (I'll link this discussion at the Aurangzeb talk page as well). Please change Persian to Farsi since he was from Afghanistan and not Iran. 170.85.100.196 (talk) 22:42, 23 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Babur should be written بابر not ببر

[edit]

Look at the titles of the Persian Wikipedia and Urdu Wikipedia pages for Babur, also look at Wiktionary, they all spell it بابر not ببر. I cannot find a single source that spells it the way it is currently. ~2026-29897-11 (talk) 16:27, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
