— Librettists of the Month focuses on improving opera librettists' biographies and articles relating to their works. —

The Librettists of the Month for May are Lorenzo da Ponte (1749 - 1838) and Eugène Scribe (1791 – 1861).

• Lorenzo da Ponte, the librettist of some of Mozart's greatest operas, is in need of expansion and better referencing based on modern scholarly sources

• Eugène Scribe, who wrote the libretti for operas by Meyerbeer, Halévy, Donizetti and Verdi, needs explansion and is currently completely unreferenced
