Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Management
| Points of interest related to Management on Wikipedia: Category – Deletions – Stubs |
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Management. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Management|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Management. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

Multiple issues with this article including notability and verification/citations. Nominating per discussion Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Biography/Science_and_academia#Ali_Akbar_Rezaei Dbsseven (talk) 17:38, 28 July 2026 (UTC)

- Delete - so many issues, too little energy to go through them all. In short: poorly sourced, without sufficient inline sources to verify anything, about the subject; tagged for many years, for multiple issues, without any improvement; created by an SPA with two edits, which raises red flags for COI and original research. I'm sorry to offload this issue on you folks. Thank you Dbsseven for doing this unpleasant task for us. If somehow this person passes academic notability, please add reliable sources and ping us. - Delete: Concurrence with nom in toto, though I am reluctant to vote this way, because it appears that Dr. Rezaei does do important academic work (he's coauthored more than 70 papers in his career on a wide range of social and cultural topics, many of which appear to be interesting reads). My research for this vote did, however lead me to discover that he may the ambassador of Iran to the African Union and Ethiopia, [1] but this is difficult to ascertain, especially considering the Government of Iran is rather disjointed at the moment, and even if he was. it's difficult to ascertain if the Iranian government maintained his position as ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Considering the Iranian Foreign Ministries website is not particularly functional, and if I reached out to either them or the African Union about the issue I would be at serious risk of criminal prosecution by my own government, (and most other editors from Western Countries who fear US sanctions would likely have the same risks) I think confirming this is, at present impossible. If someone has greater thoughts on this, or an angle for SIGCOV I would love to hear it, but in absence, my vote must regrettably remain Delete. Foxtrot620 (talk) 22:57, 28 July 2026 (UTC)

I propose merging to Students' union because there seems to be a few issues with the page. Furthermore, the subject can easily be merged to the student union page Issac I Navarro (talk) 01:49, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

- Comment: not sure if any of the issues the nominator is referring to warrant to this page not being necessary at all (does the usual common wisdom of AfD not being cleanup still apply in merge discussions?), or if material about this would actually be due in the general students' union article, but it is of note that this has been tagged as a potential NORG failure almost since its creation in September 2017. (No specific opinion.) WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 02:21, 21 July 2026 (UTC)
- I would of suggested that this page also be included in the now closed merged discussion at Talk:Class president § Proposed mergers with the same rationale and consensus that discussion brought. I just now seen that this page existed. Issac I Navarro (talk) 02:58, 21 July 2026 (UTC)

[Employees' Wage Dispute at RMB 10 Billion Quant Fund Tianyan Capital Uncovers Alleged Shareholders' Battle Over the Company's Official Seal?]. The Paper (in Chinese). 2023-05-27. Archived from the original on 2026-07-25. Retrieved 2026-07-25 – via East Money.
From Google Translate: "Public records indicate that Tianyan Capital, a quantitative private fund manager with assets exceeding 10 billion yuan, was established in August 2014 and has since changed its name from Beijing Tianyan Capital Management Co., Ltd. to Shanghai Tianyan Private Fund Management Co., Ltd. Data from Tianyancha shows that the company is directly held by two individual shareholders: Xie Xiaoyang—who serves as executive director, general manager, and legal representative—holds an 80% stake, while Supervisor Zhang Sen holds 20%. What has drawn market attention is that the civil judgment in question also brought to light past events suggesting an internal power struggle between the two major shareholders, including a dispute over the seizure of the company's official seal."

From Google Translate: "Founded in 2014, Tianyan Capital is a homegrown Chinese quantitative hedge fund management firm currently managing assets exceeding RMB 20 billion. It stands out as a prime example of a firm that combines "returnee" talent (those with overseas experience) and "local" talent. One of its founding partners, Xie Xiaoyang, holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Cambridge, while the other, Zhang Sen, holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Peking University and a master's degree in economics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Industry observers believe that this blend of "returnee" and "local" expertise significantly broadens the scope of Tianyan Capital's strategy development. The name "Tianyan" is derived from *Evolution and Ethics* (known in Chinese as *Tianyan Lun*), reflecting the firm's corporate culture of continuous evolution and innovation in scientific research and investment methodologies. Tianyan Capital launched its first contractual private fund in 2015 and introduced a market-neutral strategy in 2017. Subsequently, it rolled out strategies such as index enhancement and quantitative stock selection, establishing a comprehensive product lineup characterized by distinct risk-return profiles."

From Google Translate: "Tianyan Capital, the firm in question, was established in August 2014 and has 93 registered full-time employees. According to public information, founder Xie Xiaoyang previously served as an investment manager at the London-based proprietary trading firm Tibra Capital, where he was responsible for market-making in equity index options across various European countries. The company's official website indicates that its total assets under management (AUM) have reached 30 billion yuan. Notably, Tianyan Capital has frequently had to address issues such as labor disputes with former employees, the departure of key investment and research personnel, and a contraction in AUM. In May 2023, a court judgment published on the China Judgements Online website revealed a labor contract dispute between Li Guangnan—Tianyan Capital’s former Chief Human Resources Officer—and the firm, along with its affiliate, Shanghai Wuze Investment. It was in this judgment that Li Guangnan alleged a power struggle involving the seizure of the company's official seal by two of Tianyan Capital's shareholders."

From Google Translate: "As of February this year, the number of private fund managers with over 10 billion RMB in assets under management (AUM) reached an unprecedented 126. Data from third-party platforms indicate that the total product performance of many of these firms hit record highs in January 2026. Notably, Tianyan Capital ranked among the top performers based on average product returns over the past three years. What qualities must a team possess to become a "long-distance runner" in the investment world? It is understood that Tianyan Capital’s co-founders, Xie Xiaoyang and Zhang Sen, are avid runners; inspired by them, the firm's younger employees have even formed their own running club. Not only did the team secure a top-ten finish at the recent J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, but Zhang Sen also took first place in the men's category. For a quantitative investment team typically perceived as being defined by mathematics and IT, excelling in sports is a testament to the "long-termism" lifestyle championed by the company."
