Some Wikipedians have formed a project to better organize information in articles related to Wine. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please add your name to the list of participants below, see the Open Tasks list, or just dig in and start editing.
This WikiProject aims to compile thorough and accurate information on different vineyards, wineries and varieties of wines, including but not limited to their qualities, origins, and uses.
You can join this project by adding your name on the participants list and placing the {{User WikiProject Wine}} template on your user page. Note: All participants will receive our fortnightly Newsletter. If you don't want to receive it place Decline Newsletter by your name.

Mestesugarul(talk·contribs) 14 February 2015 - Professional mead maker and oenologist from Romania. I am highly versed in yeast cultures and biochemistry involved in winemaking.
RasaŠataitė(talk·contribs) 4 September 2015 - Working on another wine project updating the wine grape varietal data base. Since I spend a lot of time searching for information simultaneously could contribute to this project. Will spend most of the time updating List of grape varieties page.
Ltodd010480(talk·contribs) 22 February 2020 - Ohio, USA wine, specifically Grand River Valley AVA and related topics.
Worldtraveler588(talk·contribs) 14 September 2020 - Willamette Valley, Oregon, especially The Chehalem Mountains and Dundee Hills AVAs
Kudpung(talk·contribs) Mainly Rhône Valley wines, especially Côtes du Rhône appelations but also neighbouring Burgundy, Luberon, Ventoux and Côtes de Provence.
This section is for editors who are interested in following the project and maybe receiving our Bi-weekly Newsletter but do not anticipate being very active in contributing to wine related articles.
IsotopeC14(talk·contribs) - Scientist at a winery, molecular biology/organic chemistry background.
Tanner-Christopher(talk·contribs) I work extensively in the WikiProject Food and Drink and have interest in this subsidiary project,(I was a regular member here until a couple months ago) I just can't devote full-time to WikiProject Wine, so I will help when I can.
Fifuszfc(talk·contribs) 20:02, 23 December 2007 I can help by doing translations from Hungarian to English/French/Italian, and vice versa, and by adding pages about the Hungarian wine sector, the systems of geographical indications of European coutries and EU wine policy.
Gmn.chi(talk·contribs) Blogger with interest in exploring wine regions off the beaten path.
HavelockJones(talk·contribs) 26 July 2012 - I've mostly been working on Bordeaux related topics, but I might spiral outwards as time allows.
EngineerScotty(talk·contribs) 04:55, 20 August 2006 (UTC). I'm still a beer drinker at heart (beer has the distinct advantage of not costing USD $30--or orders of magnitude more--for a good bottle), but there's a lot of grapes to harvest on this subject. I'll focus mainly on Oregon wine, but probably (definitely) will have lots of suggestions. And since I probably couldn't distinguish a bottle of Grand cruBurgundy from two buck chuck without reading at the bottle:), I'll bring a different (and possibly) skeptical perspective to the party.reply
Saeedi1(talk·contribs) 8:57, 21 May 2012 (UTC) - Interested in all things wine, but currently improving information on Italian grapes, wines, wine geography and IGT/DOC/DOCG regulations.
Aquadorian(talk·contribs) 15 June 2014 - One greatest love oenophilastically (now if that's not a real word, then I've just coined it) is Sauvignon Blanc from both France and New Zealand. Wikipedia entries look somewhat barren for French country wine in particular so I will aim to improve these.
Photo request: Just about all of them! Any pictures of wine regions, grape varieties or wine would be useful. In particular we need wine region maps that can be licensed for Wikipedia.
In 2008, a community forum was established to help manage common goals of the associated Food and Drink WikiProjects. The inactive discussion is located here.
Goal specific forums
Guidelines forum - This forum has been set up for the various Food and Drink projects to develop a set of Manual of Style guidelines for use in articles under the auspices of all the related Food and Drink WikiProjects and task forces. This would be similar to the MoS guidelines for biographies or legal articles.
Restaurant notability guidelines discussion - This guideline is intended to extend WP:CORP, in no way to replace its purpose, in regard to restaurants. It is also not intended to replace, supplant, or otherwise alter the standard notability requirements.

Catalan:User:MIckStephenson - Probably not much call for it, but I could use the practice!
Danish:User:Nwinther - I don't dabble around too much on danish wikipedia, but I'll gladly chip in when needed.
French:
User:Mroconnell - You should send me requests without hesitation and I'll do what I can.
User:scyrene - I have a degree in French, and will happily translate any articles sent to me. I will have a go at Portuguese and Catalan too (Spanish and Italian at a push), but defer to other users' expertise which no doubt exceeds my own.
User:Kudpung - French (practically native) => English (native). Have vinyard in the heart of the Rhône (grower of Syrah and Grenache, wine taster/blender)
User:Ian Spackman - no expert in the language or in the wine, but there are billions of articles to translate and I offer my services as the first of the millions of collaboraters LAMM707 will need! Now you can do me a good turn in advance of those translations. The weekend after next I shall be in the Val Cordera, just north of Lake Como. What should I make absolutely sure of drinking?
User:alphac Who better than an Italian from Asti could help in adding info to the Italian wines?:-D
