[edit]Following on from this discussion Wikipedia:Reference desk/Science#BIOLOGY - Latin binomial nomenclature, e.g. Iris variegata vs. Iris variegatus:
Consuelo is a woman's given name in Spanish. It means "consolation" and is one of the names of the Virgin Mary (Nuestra señora del Consuelo). Are there any other girls' names which end in "o"? - As for Dido, it may be the Baroness's name of choice, but there are and were women and girls named Dido. I certainly immediately think of a famous woman when I hear or read "Dido". Wikipedia also has an article on Dido Elizabeth Belle who appears to have carried her name since birth or shortly thereafter. ---Sluzzelin talk 18:10, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

- Rosario is also an Italian male name, e.g. Rosario La Spina (Rosary The Spine). I guess it's possible an Italian Rosario and a Spanish Rosario could get together and produce a tribe of little rosary beads. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 21:47, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
