Michal Krčmář

[edit]

Might be nice to indicate the pronunciation of Michal Krčmář now that he's won a silver medal. I'm just guessing [mixal krˌtʃmaːr̝], but there are probably subtleties that I'm missing... AnonMoos (talk) 23:08, 11 February 2018 (UTC)reply

Added. It's [ˈmixal ˈkr̩tʃmaːr̝]. Mr KEBAB (talk) 23:16, 11 February 2018 (UTC)reply
Don't forget final devoicing though. It's [ˈkr̩tʃmaːr̝̊]. Granted, the [r̝̊] is not phonemic in Czech, but it's listed in Help:IPA/Czech. And also the short "i" is listed there as [ɪ], so [ˈmɪxal]. --Theurgist (talk) 23:59, 11 February 2018 (UTC)reply
My bad. I'm too accustomed to transcribing Slovak. Mr KEBAB (talk) 00:12, 12 February 2018 (UTC)reply

Thanks... AnonMoos (talk) 10:25, 12 February 2018 (UTC)reply
