Free PDF reader on Windows that shows search results with context in a side bar

[edit]

Can anyone please recommend a free PDF reader on Windows that shows search results with context in a side bar or similar pane, so that one can instantly see the results with surrounding words, without having to repeatedly click next and previous results to cycle through matches?

If I remember correctly, Adobe's official PDF reader did that on an older computer but I can no longer find a setting to enable it.

Thanks,

Adobe Reader still does it. On the "Edit" menu, under "Find" (the normal Ctrl-F search), you will see "Advanced search". That does what you're asking. 41.23.55.195 (talk) 05:09, 2 October 2023 (UTC)reply
