Word document recover unsaved changes after undo

[edit]

Hi all,

I was working in a Word document and undid all my changes to get back to something I had done, but accidentally made a new edit in the old, undone version. This overwrote the current version, and I was wondering whether there was a way to recover that version or whether it is lost? The document has not been saved at all.

Thanks in advance,

If you made an edit, I don't think so, otherwise CTRL-Y would fix it. MoonyTheDwarf (Braden N.) (talk) 15:07, 12 December 2019 (UTC)reply
