[edit]According to there is a scheme for Google to have pages in a web cache that appear like they are at a different URL. This is part of a "signed exchanges" system they have put in Google Chrome and which apparently is going to Microsoft Edge. It sounds like this is a broad Trojan Horse to let "analytics" (according to that article) and presumably ads past ad-blockers, and might also be a way to defeat legislative limits on whether a site stores data in another country etc. since the "user" would be doing it even if not actually aware they're doing it. Do we have an article on this topic? Does anyone review the ramifications? -- especially the underhanded ones, since those are the only motivation for any kind of computer development by anyone.
