Wikipedia:NYRM

This is an informal non-DAB to identify and provide quick access to the many related discussions, see talk.

• Category:New York City and New York State move discussion pages should list all pages dedicated to the topic (this line duplicates the category link below, intentionally).
• Wikipedia:List of New York City and New York State move discussion page sections should list all sections dedicated to the topic that are in more general pages.
• wp:NYRM2017prep is the discussion that led to the 2017 RM.
• wp:NYRM2017 is the 2017 RM, closed as move.
• wp:NYRM2016 is the previous panel-closed RM, closed as no consensus on a 2:1 split decision (one finding consensus to move).
• wp:NYRM2018 was a proposed follow-up to NYRM2017 to test whether the city is the primary topic. See also user:andrewa/NYRM2018 and user talk:andrewa/NYRM2018.
• wp:NYRM2019 was a hypothetical follow-up to NYRM2018 to test whether the state is the primary topic. Yes, it would have been ridiculous to actually do it, but see wp:NYRM2018#NYRM2019 and wt:NYRM2018#Condorcet paradox test for why we needed to talk about it.

Those last two lines should not be deleted even if no page links to them, as edit summaries may.
