The result of the discussion was delete all. User:Edzmz has in fact become an article at Eduardo Diazmuñoz. Any idea of moving the others to Wikiproject Abandoned Drafts is stymied by copyright issues. JohnCD (talk) 17:19, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Promotional WP:FAKEARTICLEs created by users who have no (live) mainspace edits and no edits for at least six months. MER-C 06:39, 28 August 2011 (UTC)

- Keep Edzma , which is a potential article if edited suitably. To indicate what could be done in such cases, see the original userspace draft at User:Smis138/N’gandu Peter Magande with the article I made of it last night at N’gandu Peter Magande
- Possibly keep Somchet Isarankura where a discussion on notability might be relevant. Akamai University is quite possibly worth an article, though unaccredited, & he was President of it.
- Delete Charles Weinblatt; his book. though held in very few libraries, is self published (see But there is a long interview in Jewish Literary Review which I think a moderately reliable source (though this interview might indicate a need for me to re-think it).
- More generally, we need some way of finding articles to rescue from among the hopelessly spammy stuff that ends up in user space. I can do 3 or 4 a week, & there are a few other people who do also, but we mostly work on the newer articles. More help is needed for this. The proof its worth it is Magande, who is a major political figure with an international reputation--there's a good deal more to add there--I just did the basics; it took about an hour, but the refs were easy to find in G News Archive. Normally I allow 2 or 3 hours, spread out over a few days. DGG ( talk ) 15:31, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'm willing to withdraw the deletion nomination for any pages you're willing to adopt (should I move them into your userspace?) but they are unacceptably promotional in their current state, especially if unsourced, and should be deleted. MER-C 07:27, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Delete User:Somchet Isarankura as a copyright violation of http://www.fordfiesta-club.com/Club/ford.fiesta.club.classifieds.oe/10038-projector.bi.xenon.devil.eyes.logo.brembo.daylight.ford.fiesta.vip-4.html; see http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22Since+2001+Dr.Somchet+Isarankura+has+been+associated%22&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=. I note that I could not find the search term "Since 2001 Dr.Somchet Isarankura has been associated" via the "control find" key, though Google picks it up. Delete also per WP:NOTADVERTISING; the user, does not contribute to Wikipedia and links to the page on an off-wiki website (http://www.isarankura.com/somchet/). I do not object to moving this to DGG's userspace; however, the copyright violation concerns need to be addressed first.
Delete User:Charles Weinblatt as a copyright violation of http://www.ziggs.com/Prod_Content/resumes/68127__CharlesS.Weinblatt-Vita7-11.doc. Cunard (talk) 01:39, 5 September 2011 (UTC) - I must admit that in practice I am not very likely to get to these, and they'll just add to my backlog. So there's no reason to keep them for me.
