Wikipedia:INDISCRIMINATE doesn't say what you think it does

WP:INDISCRIMINATE (also known as NOTDATABASE) is one of the most frequently cited policies at WP:Articles for Deletion and is often used when discussing Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists. It is frequently misapplied and invoked in cases where it is not applicable. INDISCRIMINATE only applies to articles encompassing raw data or in four very specific instances that are clearly stated in policy. They are: Summary-only descriptions of works, Lyrics databases, Excessive listings of unexplained statistics, and Exhaustive logs of software updates. If an article is not made up of raw data or does not match one of these four specific criteria than under this policy it is not indiscriminate.
