Description: This is a logo for the company Saint-Gobain SEFPRO URL: http://www.sefpro.com/en/sefpro-at-a-glance.aspx License: Fair use policy: SEFPRO belongs to the parent company Saint-Gobain, and as such follows their legal policies on copyrighting etc. The Saint-Gobain Wikipedia page has the company's logo on it, thus SEFPRO's logo should also be allowed to be included. {{Non-free use rationale
| Description = This is the logo for the company Saint-Gobain SEFPRO
| Source = www.sefpro.com
| Article = Saint-Gobain SEFPRO (pending approval)
| Portion = The entire logo is used to convey the meaning intended and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the intended image.
| Low_resolution = The logo is of a size and resolution sufficient to maintain the quality intended by the company or organization, without being unnecessarily high resolution.
| Purpose = The image will be placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing Saint-Gobain SEFPRO, a subject of public interest. The significance of the logo is to help the reader identify the organization, assure the readers that they have reached the right article containing critical commentary about the organization, and illustrate the organization's intended branding message in a way that words alone could not convey.
| Replaceability = Because it is a non-free logo, there is almost certainly no free representation. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary.
| other_information = Use of the logo in the article complies with Wikipedia non-free content policy, logo guidelines, and fair use under United States copyright law as described above.

Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: New article: SpellForce (series) (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) infobox. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as a logo. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing the work, to show a primary visual image associated with the work, and to help the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to relevant concerns and video game marketing to the public. | Description = This is a logo for St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe. Further details: http://www.stpatricks.qld.edu.au/discover-st-patricks/get-to-know-st-patricks
| Source = The logo may be obtained from St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe.
| Article = https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/St_Patrick%27s_College,_Shorncliffe
| Portion = The entire logo is used to convey the meaning intended and avoid tarnishing or misrepresenting the intended image.
| Low_resolution = The logo is of a size and resolution sufficient to maintain the quality intended by the company or organization, without being unnecessarily high resolution.
| Purpose = The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing St Patrick's College, Shorncliffe, a subject of public interest.

Description: This is a poster for Seventy-Nine (film). URL: http://www.impawards.com/2013/posters/seventy_nine.jpg Low Resolution?: The copy is of sufficient resolution for commentary and identification but lower resolution than the original poster. Copies made from it will be of inferior quality, unsuitable as counterfeit artwork, pirate versions or for uses that would compete with the commercial purpose of the original artwork. License: Non-free use rationale poster This image is of a poster, and the copyright for it is most likely owned by either the publisher or the creator of the work depicted. It is believed that the use of scaled-down, low-resolution images of posters to provide critical commentary on the film, event, etc. in question or of the poster itself, not solely for illustration on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. Any other uses of this image, on Wikipedia or elsewhere, may be copyright infringement. See Wikipedia:Non-free content for more information. Link To License Information: http://www.impawards.com/privacy.html Author/Copyright Holder's Name: Magic Elevator Production Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: Main infobox. The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work, product or service for which it serves as poster art. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing the work, to show the primary visual image associated with the work, and to help the user quickly identify the work, product or service and know they have found what they are looking for. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services, and in turn the marketing of the promoted item. 40.140.24.2 (talk) 18:56, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

Request: Eugene M. Locke, deputy ambassador to South Vietnam in 1967-1968.jpg

This request for upload has been reviewed. The reviewer comments appear below the submission text.
Description: This image was taken between May 1967 and January 1968, during which time Locke was deputy ambassador to South Vietnam. The back of the photo, which comes from family archives, says simply in pencil U.S. Deputy Ambassador to Viet Nam Eugene Locke. I believe this was taken by the U.S. State Department as a photo to be given to the press. I made a query on this through Wikipedia and received the following response from The Red Pen of Doom: You cannot presume it is copyright free. You must assume it is under some copyright unless specific evidence demonstrating that it is not. However, since Locke is dead, we can use it on wikipedia under the WP:FAIR criteria until evidence of its copyright is established and then move it to Commons if appropriate.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:13, 29 June 2015 (UTC) Mrs. Eugene M. Locke (Adele Locke Seybold) has also died so there's no one to provide more information about this photo, taken about 48 years ago. Thanks for any help on this. I just updated the entry and was hoping to have a photo. Tom Locke (younger son of Eugene M. Locke; Locke family has been in the loop on new Wikipedia entry and this photo) URL: To be uploaded from http://www.tomstouchmemories.com/blog.html for use at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eugene_M._Locke License: See above. I would like to use the WP:Fair criteria as explained by The Red Pen of Doom. This is a request for fair use of a photo of Locke, who was a public figure at the time since he was deputy ambassador to South Vietnam and former ambassador to Pakistan. Link To License Information: See above. There is no license. This is a fair use request. Author/Copyright Holder's Name: The individual photographer's name is not known. Thought to be taken for the federal government. Article To Be Used On/Reason For Upload: Photo to be used with recently updated Wikipedia entry on Eugene M. Locke. There is no photo with the entry right now. 071185ben (talk) 19:24, 29 June 2015 (UTC)
I have now placed the URL from which to upload the photo next to "URL." I hope that this will do it. Thanks for the help. 071185ben (talk) 03:24, 30 June 2015 (UTC)
