Wikipedia:ELECTCOM/Process
This page is an attempt to document the processes required of the WP:ACE Electoral Commission.
- Early on, coordinate with WMF staff to ensure that the WP:SecurePoll service is available and configured.
- Generate the list of eligible voters. This is currently done via a script which queries the user database and applies the eligibility rules per the most recent WP:ACERULES RFC. If the rules have changed since the previous year, the script will need to be updated. Currently, cyberpower678 knows the details.
- Task: make sure this script is someplace safe (stored in git, for example) and the location is documented, along with instructions on how to run it.

- Once this list of eligible voters is created, this needs to get transmitted to WMF staff who will handle installing it into the SecurePoll system.
