Draft:Venkata Subbaiah Karumanchi (filter log) (user filter log)

Description

I tried to create Draft:Venkata Subbaiah Karumanchi at 19:52 UTC on 28 September 2026. The edit was disallowed by a filter described as "Fixed position vandalism"; filters 147 and 148 also logged a possible autobiography. This is a good-faith sourced biographical draft about my great-grandfather, not vandalism. I have a family conflict of interest and will disclose it on the draft talk page if the draft is created. Could an experienced editor review the false positive and, if appropriate, make the edit on my behalf? The draft text is available for review.

If an editor with access to the private filter has a moment, I'd appreciate a prompt review of this false positive. The full draft text is in my sandbox if that helps. Rkaruman (talk) 21:00, 28 September 2026 (UTC)

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. Was a false positive. Filter change would make sense I think. – Nobody (talk) 05:04, 29 September 2026 (UTC)

Trueno (rapper) (filter log) (user filter log)

Description

I had the timeline on the corresponding spanish page for Trueno machine translated, since all of that info was missing on this one, then heavily edited it myself to smooth things over. I also updated the timeline to be up-to-date, since it was outdated past like 2023, freshened up the overview, and added the public image section. I did it in multiple sittings since this was like a two day ordeal, and because of that I had to paste my writing as source code into the source editor. And since this is basically an overhaul of half the page, I pasted my whole source text over everything. All the information that didn't need updating is still there. It was flagged as unconstructive, though, so my edit didn't go through.

Not done though a change to the filter may be needed. Rewrite the lead; it's too promotional. If it still doesn't let you post it for some reason, bring it back here. – Jdcomix (talk) 03:50, 29 September 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Remington Scott (filter log) (user filter log)

Description

I was editing Draft:Remington Scott through Articles of creation. I was putting in sourced biographical information and citations that are reliable to published sources. this was a constructive edit and I believe the filter was triggered in error

Done and a change to the filter may be needed. Not sure how often this type of false positive happens compared to vandalism though. – Nobody (talk) 05:27, 30 September 2026 (UTC)

Note: If the text of your edit contained the @ symbol, this is likely what is triggering the filter. There's almost no reason to publish any text containing that symbol, as even if it's not an actual email address it can be interpreted as one by spammers etc. – Taking Out The Trash (talk) 19:38, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

Frieling USA (filter log) (user filter log)

Description

I nominated this article at AfD this morning and withdrew it this afternoon before anyone else commented. I've closed the discussion as speedy keep per WP:WDAFD, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Frieling USA. The AfD notice now needs removing from the article, which the filter won't let me do. Could someone remove it? Thanks.

Definitely not them. They reverted their edits so they went to try to vandalize their user page. SuperJames888 (Talk to me) 20:24, 1 October 2026 (UTC)
