Checking with the edit filter managers to see if changes need to be made. Ignoring the private filter part of this it seems to be working normally. 1233 is designed to catch Long string of characters with no punctuation or markup, and things like 44618742 are indeed what the filter is trying to catch. Except that it's not a "long string of characters containing no punctuation or markup"... it's a message written in Spanish. The filter should only be looking for and catching long strings of random characters containing no punctuation or markup (i.e. gibberish). Good-faith but non-English text != gibberish. ...Which is not a good thing. If we want to have a filter to detect run-on sentences, that should be a separate filter and should be warn-only. A disallow filter like this one should only be looking for strings of random characters that don't actually make any comprehensible words. Taking Out The Trash (talk) 18:12, 19 July 2026 (UTC)

I believe this edit filter hit is a false positive.

I was attempting to create Draft:Lulu Picart through Articles for Creation using the Wikipedia Article Wizard. The draft is a neutral, sourced draft article about Lulu Picart, an actor, music director, podcaster, and creative consultant with Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, and podcasting credits.

The draft is not being submitted directly to mainspace. It is intended for AfC review. It cites public sources including Playbill, Broadway.com, Orlando Weekly, American Repertory Theater, BroadwayWorld, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay, Maestra Music, and ClickOrlando.

I know the subject personally and am helping as an unpaid friend, not as a paid editor or PR representative. I am willing to disclose that relationship clearly on my user page or on the draft talk page.

The filter may have been triggered because this is a new biography draft about a living person with multiple citations. I have already tried reducing the draft and removing lower-priority external links, but the edit is still being disallowed.

I am not pasting the full draft here because the report instructions say the attempted edit is already visible to reviewers and that reposting external links may trigger the same filter again.
