- While I don't doubt the sincerity of the tag, it seems that this could have been more easily resolved through some simple copyediting. Since I have expanded the article, I have rewritten the lead paragraph (leaving the copyvio tagged content, since this is where the question of copyvio arose to begin with). Upon review, the entirety of the offending sentences could simply be removed and, if necessary, revdeled since new text has been added. Or... we can just scrap the whole thing and start over. - That's fine, and you're certainly entitled to your opinion just as I'm entitled to disagree it was necessary.
- I do need to clarify for the review clerk, if there's not a need to revdel, the lead rewrite starts after the {{copyvio/bottom}} tag. In other words, if there are no other issues, then everything within {{copyvio}} including the cite could just be deleted and the article would be intact.
