Current tasks

The following list contains tasks that currently need to be done. High-priority tasks are bolded, and some tasks are linked to pages that provide further information or instructions.

• Create a Welcome Page for new users - This should be focused on helping new editors through the contrib team and with contrib team activities
• WikiProject outreach and notification: help notify WikiProjects about this team, and encourage their members to join our team (ongoing).
• Recruitment of new editors for this team: reach out to individual editors directly on their talkpages (or email) and ask them to join this team (ongoing).
• Writing scripts for the videos we are planning on creating: Helping to put these together so that we can then create our welcome pack for new users
• Create new welcome templates focused on the Contribution team - such as the one found here.
• Have new Welcome Templates added to Twinkle/Friendly - For better outreach!
• Keep the Signpost updated on our latest events
• Create leaflets for our newest recruitment events - This includes leaflets to say: We are coming! as well as leaflets to help students and new editors
