This player fails both WP:ATHLETE (as he hasn't "competed at the fully professional level of a sport" - no evidence to show he has played for either Palermo or the Sri Lankan national team) and WP:GNG (as he hasn't "received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject"). Recreate if & when he meets either of these guidelines in the future. This article is a contested PROD; no rationale was given for the removal of the PROD. GiantSnowman 13:50, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

- Not a fantastic source to be honest. Even if he did play, I don't think it would count as an official international match, as according to this source the nation of Brunei was actually being represented by a club team, QAF FC. Also, even though the article claims it was a qualification match for a tournament, FIFA confirms it was only a friendly. GiantSnowman 16:34, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

- Keep - This page and match reports show he has played 22 games for Vibonese in the C2, which is listed as a fully professional league, thus passing WP:ATHLETE. Camw (talk) 16:56, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
