Vernon is an unincorporated town and census-designated place (CDP) in Yuma County, Colorado, United States.[1] At the United States Census 2020, the population of the total Vernon CDP was 38.[3]
History
[edit]The Vernon Post Office has been in operation since 1892.[5] The Vernon post office has the ZIP Code 80755.[4]
The community was named after a local minister with the name Vernon.[6] The Vernon CDP was demarcated in 2010 by the United States Census Bureau for its internal use.
