Un Estilo (English: A Style) is the debut studio album by Mexican pop singer-songwriter Ana Gabriel. It was released in January 1985 through CBS Discos.[1]
Prior to securing a recording contract, the artist experienced persistent difficulties entering the music industry due to repeated rejections from regional executives before CBS Records (later Columbia Records) signed her.[2] To promote the project, she participated in the National OTI Festival selection in 1984 with the track "Búscame," which served as her introduction to mainstream media circles.[3] Although initial retail sales numbers were modest, the album established her career footing.[2] The track list includes "Sin ti no sé amar," which is a Spanish-language adaptation of the 1983 Eurythmics hit single "Right By Your Side."[4]
