UK Poo Music, also known as UK Burger Music or simply UK Poo, is a subgenre of UK drill that developed in the United Kingdom in the 2010s. UK Poo is characterised by a drill-style beat with repetitive, non-rhythmic, or nonsense lyrics, and some older UK Poo songs typically use lyrics from children’s songs, lullabies, and cartoon theme songs modified to include elements of crime and gang affiliation. UK Poo artists often sample songs and rap over the song they sampled rather than creating a beat.

History
[edit source]Rapper Devz is often credited as the creator of UK Poo, when he sang “Blackbox Freestyle” on 22nd October 2016, the most viral part of it being Devz saying “Who what what what where, nah but who who where”.
Rapper Glockamoley is typically credited as the second big artist of UK Poo, when he released “MayDay” in April 2018 with Co D and Loochiemoney. This idea often stems from a non-rhythmic part of the song which involves an ambulance and Glockamoley repeating “Nee Nor, Nee, Nor”.
Rapper Liilz is credited as the first modern artist of UK Poo, when he released “Glad U Came” on 4th March 2022 with ZieZie. This is because the song contains lyrics with british slang with some repetition and a beat that has a british “vibe”.
The next big UK Poo song is often described to be “No Diddy” by YJ, released on August 26th 2024, the song is characterised by low-effort, “mumble” singing, and a classic UK Drill beat.
UK Poo gained more traction in July 2026, with the rise of songs such as “Slap Me Again” by SAVVY, “Shake It” by Famous Ak, and “Broke Life” by ODSECTION
Influence
