Categorization

[edit]

This template should probably be categorized in Category:WikiProject banners. Does anyone object? --B. Wolterding (talk) 17:34, 11 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Stretched out template?

[edit]

I notice that the template is stretched out, and a "|-" seems to be the culprit. Can this be fixed? --GVOLTT How's my editing?\My contribs 05:16, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I am also seeing the template in the same way, stretched. Cannibaloki 05:35, 4 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Reverted back to last known good version. I'm trying to address the problem that was supposed to be fixed when it got accidentally stretched. Matthewedwards (talk contribs  email) 16:11, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

remove cat

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Colud the following be removed

<noinclude>[[Category:WikiProject banners|HMM]]</noinclude>

as it's already included in a subcategory & doesn't need to be in both. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 23:10, 5 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

 Done

Edit Req

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Could the sandbox version be copied over. It is just tidying up some of the banner options. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 22:09, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done, let me know if there are issues. --Stephen 23:57, 21 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Addition of parameters

[edit]

{{editprotected}} Please, copy and paste the code below to the current version of this template.--Cannibaloki 05:52, 27 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Code moved to /sandbox for improved readability.

A few clarifications please:
  • Really? Because in the last time that the template was updated, I do not discuss with anyone. (My request is uncontroversial.)
  • The biggest change is the addition of the B-class checklist. Are you aware that this will reclassify all of the project's B-class articles to C-class, until they are each individually assessed?
  • Yes, I have a copy of these articles.
  • The **PARAMETER** should be changed to the actual parameter the project wishes to use. If you want to use the standard names you can just use b1={{{b1|}}} etc.

Follow-up: I feel these requests are big changes and possibly controversial. I see you have now posted on the project page. I suggest giving it a few days in case people have any comments/suggestions/concerns about it. If there is no dissent, I have no problem making the changes you request.  Martin (MSGJ · talk) 19:42, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've applied your requested changes. You just need to create all the missing categories now. I've also lowered the protection so you can work on it yourself next time. (Please would you watchlist the template in case of vandalism?) If you need any further help please let me know.  Martin (MSGJ · talk) 08:02, 25 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay, thanks.--Cannibaloki 14:42, 26 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit request on 1 January 2013 (add project's category)

[edit]

{{edit semi-protected}} add category "Category:WikiProject Metal". 96.232.126.27 (talk) 23:03, 1 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Done For future reference, many templates such as this one, have their documentation on a subpage, which is where the category gets placed. There is an edit link on the template page to access the documentation subpage, and such pages exist as subpages for just the purpose of allowing edits by anyone even where the template itself is protected.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 03:09, 4 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Requested move for "Get Rollin'"

[edit]

There is a Requested move for "Get Rollin'" at Talk:Get_Rollin'#Requested_move_25_November_2022. --Jax 0677 (talk) 14:21, 26 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Plush

[edit]

I took a look at the article Draft:Plush (band), and after doing internet searches for articles, I found several from Blabbermouth.net, Loudwire and Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles. It is hard for me to believe that a band with this much publicity would not be notable. Thoughts? --Jax 0677 (talk) 18:40, 1 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

Should "Template:HMM" say only "Metal" instead of "Heavy Metal Music"?
