Detailed fair use justification?

[edit]

Please see discussion at Wikipedia_talk:Music_samples#Detailed_fair_use_justification.3F and reply there. Thanks. Dcoetzee 18:07, 11 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just buzzed on my watchlist, for some reason. I see a deceptive pipe to "English-language Wikipedia", which no one in their right mind would ever click on. It goes to WP:NFCC. Can this be made explicit? Tony (talk) 03:38, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

image? has rationale

[edit]

why is the patroller parameter here "image has rationale"? this template is used exclusively for audio samples; couldn't it at least be something more inclusive, such as "file has rationale"? i realize that this isn't an urgent matter, but to me, leaving the term "image" seems simply improper. a bot could easily manage the search and replace. ~ Boomur [] 00:31, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

This template can be switched to use {{Uploader information}} if a slight change in items is acceptable; I've drafted a new version of the template at Template:Non-free audio sample/sandbox. Yes, I know I can edit this template myself, but I'd like at least one other person agreeing. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:12, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Can you add "|additional notes=# '''[[Template:Non-free use rationale audio sample]]''' may be helpful for stating the rationale. and put it behind "{{Uploader information" and put it in front of "
