Template talk:German title hatnote

Don't we have two additional possibilities here, for Germans born after 1919, and likewise Austrians? Or has the practice been not to use the original template on those? ~2026-39276-06 (talk) 22:42, 22 August 2026 (UTC)

I don't think the text needs to change for Germans born after 1919. For Austrians born after 1919 the issue is moot because they never had a title in their name. Joe vom Titan (talk) 18:33, 23 August 2026 (UTC)

I take your point about the Austrians, d'oh. One extra possible case. Sure, one can collapse the two German cases into one, but it's at least potentially helpful to have slightly differently crafted wordings for each. ~2026-39276-06 (talk) 20:50, 23 August 2026 (UTC)
