Usage
[edit]This template displays the current date and time, in a format similar to that used in the block log.

It's in the name
[edit]The name of the template is datetime, yet the output it produces is time, then date. Would'nt have timedate been more logical? --Turbinator 21:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
Replace contents
[edit]To improve efficiency and so it uses less template, I replaced the current contents with 08:16, 25 July 2026 (UTC). There is no difference in the functionality of the template.
