Upgrade needed for empty letter values

Needs to be upgraded to add a sentinel conditional test per letter so that we can set, say, 'q' empty and have it pass through a |q= in such a way that {{Compact TOC}} picks it up correctly and acts accordingly. Mathglot (talk) 08:39, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
