Template talk:Canvassed

Where are we supposed to put it?

I recently put it in an RfC below comments by a couple editors I believed were canvassed, resulting in a big brouhaha. But it does NOT look like a talk page template. More guidance here would be a big help. CarolMooreDC - talkie talkie🗽 17:43, 30 May 2013 (UTC)

OK, searched around and found it in discussions on talk page. Just had problems with an editor who said it didn't belong in RfCs. But found it in a Move discussion. But what about AfDs and ANI discussions, etc? A bit more guidance regarding people removing it, having fits about it, etc. (as in my case) might be helpful. Thanks.
