- All i did was implement a
|nocats=parameter as in WP:CATSUP, so that should someone want to use the template without getting their page categorized, they can. Otherwise, if they omit it/don't set it to "yes" then the page will be added to the relevant categories, just as before. - BTW should we add what? :P benzband (talk) 09:52, 28 April 2012 (UTC)
Cat vs Alt
[edit]Is it just me, or does |cat= not work when |alt= is used? I was adding templates tp Category:Science and nature barnstar templates ( 56 ) and had to hard-code the category for barnstars with alts. --awkwafaba (📥) 02:25, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
