Basic usage

Place this on the talk page of relevant articles:

It is usual to remove any unused parameters from the template call.

Parameters

category – set |category=no if, and only if, a banner is being used for demonstration or testing purposes, to prevent unnecessary or undesirable categorization. Otherwise, omit this parameter.

Notes and alerts

needs-photo – set |needs-photo=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "An image is needed for this article."
reassess – set |reassess=yes or any non-blank value other than "no", "n" or "0". The following message will be displayed: "A request has been made to reassess the rating of this article"

Deprecated parameters

listas – this parameter should be used with the banner shell template, not on individual project banners. Please see Template:WikiProject banner shell for details.
