Usage
[edit]This project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

- needs-image – set
|needs-image=yesto request that a picture or pictures be included in the article to improve its quality.- This parameter populates Category:Wikipedia requested images of dentistry.

[edit]- class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid
|class=values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment.
Importance assessment
[edit]An article's importance assessment is generated from the importance parameter in the {{WikiProject Dentistry}} project banner on its talk page:

The following values may be used for the importance parameter to describe the relative importance of the article within the project (see Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Priority of topic for assessment criteria):

Importance scale
