Usage

Default userbox

• Adding {{User California}} to your user page will produce the following:

This user lives in or hails from the U.S. State of California.

Modifying the userbox

You can choose one of four alternative text options:

• Adding {{User California|live}} or {{User California|lives}} to your user page will produce the following:

This user currently lives in the U.S. State of California.

• Adding {{User California|from}} to your user page will produce the following:

This user hails from the U.S. State of California.

• Adding {{User California|born}} to your user page will produce the following:

This user was born in the U.S. State of California.

• Adding {{User California|lived}} to your user page will produce the following:

This user has lived in the U.S. State of California.

Categories

When placed on your user page with "live" or "lives" indicated, this template adds your user page to the following categories:

• Category:Wikipedians in California
• Category:Wikipedians in the United States
