This template displays an external link to a page at Threads, a social media website. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

Template parameters

Parameter		Description	Type	Status
ID	id 1	The username in the Threads URL, such as kevin in https://www.threads.net/@kevin/. This parameter is optional if Wikidata property P11892 exists, but required if not. Default Wikidata property P11892 Example kevin	String	optional
Name	name 2	The name displayed as the link text. This parameter is optional; it defaults to the Wikipedia article name, without any disambiguation. Default {{PAGENAMEBASE}} Example Kevin Systrom	String	optional

Tracking categories

• Category:Threads username different from Wikidata (0) – comparison is case insensitive, so Kevin matches kevin
• Category:Threads username not in Wikidata (8)
• Category:Threads template missing ID and not in Wikidata (0)
• Category:Pages using Threads with unknown parameters (0)
