Usage

This template is part of a group of templates that are used to display information about a specific star. The list of templates in an article should always start with {{Starbox begin}} and end with {{Starbox end}}.

This template expands the functions of {{Starbox observe}}, adding support for no_heading and component1 fields: no_heading=y suppresses display of the yellow banner to allow seamless display of multiple stars; component1 will display a component designation even for single stars, or when no_heading=y is used. Use of the {{RA}} template is recommended for formatting the right ascension, and the {{DEC}} template for formatting the declination. If the apparent magnitude is not known, it may be omitted, and the apparent magnitude will then be omitted from the infobox. For double or triple star systems where right ascension and declination measurements are available for all components, {{Starbox observe 2s}} and {{Starbox observe 3s}} may be used. This particular template can be used as follows:
