Template:Infobox station/Header CTA/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template formats an infobox header for stations of the Chicago "L".

Usage

[edit]

This template is used in the |custom_header= parameter of {{Infobox station}}. The template has the following parameters, all of which are optional:

  • name: The station name; e.g. Ashland. If not specified, the template will try to produce the station name from the article title.
  • line1: The first line (the line colour is shown as a horizontal stripe); e.g. Orange.
  • linen (line2, line3, and so on): Further lines, if the station is served by more than one line. Stripes are ordered from top to bottom.
  • color: If this is specified, the header background uses a single solid color. This is mainly used for stations which closed between 1977 and 1995; typical values are A, B, AB and KDR90. PreKDR is used for stations that closed before the mid-20th century.
  • grid: The station's address in the Chicago street grid; e.g. 1600W 3000S. Spaces are automatically changed to <br> tags.
  • size: The main font size, expressed as a scaling factor; e.g. 0.9. If not specified, a font size is calculated based on the length of the station name.
