Template:Daylight saving offset/doc

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This template uses Module:time to calculate the output. So most timezones should work. If a timezone doesn't work it needs to be added at Module:time.

Usage

[edit]

This template takes one unnamed parameter (or |1=) for the timezone abbrev. defined in Template:Time (eg. EST and not EDT).

Notes

[edit]

When DST is active it produces 1

When DST isn't active it produces 0

Examples

[edit]
  • MST: {{Daylight saving offset|MST}} → 1
  • NZST: {{Daylight saving offset|NZST}} → 0
  • IST: {{Daylight saving offset|IST}} → 0
  • CET: {{Daylight saving offset|CET}} → 1
