Template:Communism US/doc

Communism US is used to create an navigation sidebar with links to key figures, organizations, and concepts of Communism in the United States. The template makes uses {{Sidebar with collapsible lists}}.

Usage

Transclude this template by placing {{Communism US}} at the desired page.

Sidebar

This template includes collapsible lists.

• • To set it to display all lists when it appears (i.e. all lists expanded), use:
  •  {{Communism US|expanded=all}} or {{Communism US|all}}  (i.e. omitting |expanded=).
• • To set it to display one particular list while keeping the remainder collapsed (i.e. hidden apart from their headings), use:
  •  {{Communism US|expanded=listname}} or {{Communism US|listname}}
  • ...where listname is one of the following (do not include any quotemarks):
  • principles, movements, activists, politicians, commentators, media, organizations, see also
  • For example, {{Communism US|expanded=principles}} or {{Communism US|principles}}

To change this template's initial visibility, the |state= parameter may be used:

• {{Communism US|state=collapsed}} will show the template collapsed, i.e. hidden apart from its title bar.
