This template is used to create a citation for a species or genus to the World Ferns taxonomic database.

Parameters

[edit]
  • mode (optional) – defaults to cs1; set to cs2 for CS2-style citations
  • taxon – name of the species or genus
  • search (optional) – for species, a search on the binomial usually works and this parameter can be omitted; as of January 2020, it is necessary to add the authority for genera, and this parameter should give the full search term (see examples below)
  • access-date – date on which World Ferns was consulted
